Le DG de la S2I a annoncé la livraison de 200 maisons dans le cadre du projet 100 mille logements sociaux, en fin juillet.
Babacar Chimère Diouf, Directeur de la S2I (Société immobilière d’investissement) a assuré lundi que 10% des maisons seront prêtes en fin juillet.
En effet, la S2I a signé une convention avec le ministère de l’habitat du Logement et du Cadre de vie. Et ce, pour la construction de 2000 maisons sur un site de 57 hectares, dans la commune de Bambilor.
« A date, nous avons démarré un lot de 200 logements dont quelques uns sont prêts et d’autres en cours de réalisation. La livraison est prévue en fin juillet », a donc assuré le promoteur.
La Secrétaire d’Etat chargée du logement Victorine Ndèye, a appelé à une mobilisation générale pour la concrétisation du projet. Pour rappel, il s’agit en fait d’un projet de l’Etat pour la construction de 100.000 logements au Sénégal sur une période de 5 ans.

Le ministre du Développement communautaire, de l’Equité sociale et territoriale, Samba Ndionbène Kâ, a présenté, lundi, à Sanghap, dans la commune de Médina Sabakh (département de Nioro), les condoléances du gouvernement à la famille de Mamadou Mansour Thiam, décédé lors des manifestations survenues début mars.
En visite dans la région de Kaolack dans le cadre d’une tournée nationale entamée il y a quelques jours, Samba Ndiobène Kâ s’est rendu dans cette localité frontalière de la Gambie, en compagnie d’autorités administratives et politiques.
Au nom du président de la République, Macky Sall, M. Kâ a fait part de la compassion du gouvernement à la famille éplorée.
Selon lui, le décès de Mamadou Mansour Thiam est « une grande perte » pour la nation sénégalaise.
Il a condamné les violences ayant entraîné une dizaine de morts à la suite de l’arrestation de l’opposant Ousmane Sonko pour troubles à l’ordre public.
Le ministre du Développement communautaire, de l’Equité sociale et territoriale a invité les parents à conseiller aux jeunes d’éviter la violence.
Il a lancé un appel au calme et appelé à préserver la stabilité du Sénégal.
Tout en disant accepter la volonté divine, les responsables de la famille Thiam ont demandé à l’Etat d’aider les populations à fixer les jeunes dans les villages.
Ils ont plaidé pour des financements et l’encadrement des jeunes et des femmes des localités de la zone.
Agé d’une vingtaine d’années, Mamadou Mansour Thiam, commerçant sur l’avenue du Général De Gaulle, à Dakar, a trouvé la mort lors des manifestations consécutives à l’arrestation de l’opposant Ousmane Sonko.
Treize personnes ont été tuées dans les violences nées de l’arrestation de l’opposant Ousmane Sonko début mars.
Le leader de PASTEF/Les Patriotes, qui a été par la suite placé sous contrôle judiciaire, est accusé de « viols répétés » et de « menaces de mort », par une employée d’un salon de beauté et massage dakarois.
La mise en liberté de M. Sonko après quatre jours de garde à vue pour troubles à l’ordre public et participation à une manifestation non-autorisée a été précédée de scènes d’émeutes et de pillages à Dakar et dans d’autres localités du Sénégal.
La Brigade régionale des stupéfiants a démantelé trois réseaux présumés de trafiquants de chanvre indien et saisi de 5, 41 kilogrammes de cette drogue a Diourbel, selon l’APS.
Une première saisie a d’abord eu lieu les 19 et 20 mars entre Ndindy (Touba) et Mbirkilane (Kaffrine) avec 6 blocs et demi de cannabis et 65 cornets du même produit d’un poids total de 4,98kg, a indiqué la source.
Un individu a par la suite été arrêté le lendemain au quartier Keur Ckeikh de Diourbel avec 200 g et 5 cornets de chanvre indien.
Une autre personne, présentée comme son fournisseur, est en cavale et est activement recherchée.
La Police a également mis fin aux agissements d’un autre réseau présumé entre Diourbel et Gossas les 24 et 25 mars avec 18 cornets de chanvre indien.
Ces personnes ont été déférées au parquet pour ‘’association de malfaiteurs, détention de chanvre indien aux fins de trafic et blanchiment de capitaux’’.
Elles sont également poursuivies pour ‘’détention aux fins d’offre ou de cession et détention pour usage’’.
